InMach was founded in August 2003 as a spin-off from the Research Institute for Applied Knowledge Processing (FAW) in Ulm. The company is involved with the development of robot technology which allows the automation of everyday services and tasks such as cleaning, transportation of goods or people or other logistic and maintenance tasks.
